Chronovenn is a Flash based widget for Wordpress blogs that visualizes a blog based on it's data's category and chronology.
Blogging has become prominent for all personal and corporate pursuit in communication and archive purposes on the internet. When one uses the blog to document information for their endeavor, the information will then be generated and stored in a data that is accessible in a dynamic information space. Despite it's accessibility, it is still deficient on how it can be presented collectively in an informative manner.

The principal of this widget was to display an entire blog’s real-time data in an alternative mode that allow the users to comunally discern the data‘s entity. This widget also can be construed as a development sequence of the blog, revealing the accumulation of the blog's data over time. Hence, it can be deliberated into an in-depth examination of the blog's behavior which are imperceptible from a standard blog layout.

The following visualization and ideas are rationalized to demonstrate the notion of this widget.

1) The diagram, each circle represent a post, and are placed within and between it's category's ring.
2) Timeline bar, there are two scroller, on the left as the "earliest" and on the right as the "latest". The visualization will show items that are posted in between the two dates in the two bars.

What goes behind the widget
The data from the blog are being translated into XML by a modified php script from Brendandawes.com. Fetching metadata such as Category, pages and url are added into the script.

1) Expanding a selected category.
2) Built-in create new post function.
3) Built-in view post description component.
4) Timeline posts indication.
